On June 4, 2015 we held the very first PyLadies Vancouver meetup, the start of our chapter. Hosted at Demonware and titled “Let’s meet and kick off PyLadies Vancouver!”, the evening was all about meeting each other and brainstorming what the group could become: talks, tutorials, install parties, hack nights, and workshops. Everything on this site, every talk, workshop, and recap since, traces back to that evening.
