We had a great turnout at our first meetup of 2025, celebrating International Women’s Day.
This was the first in-person meetup we’ve had in a long time. We’re really excited to kick-start our meetups again and to rebuild the Vancouver PyLadies community.
IWD PyLadies Intro Slides by Mariatta WijayaThank you to our speaker Dr. Hazra Imran for her presentation: Personalized Learning with Emotion-Aware AI in Python.
Personalized Learning with Emotion-Aware AI in Python explores how AI can detect user engagement and adapt learning experiences in real-time. This session introduces emotion-aware AI, explains how Python-powered tools analyze facial expressions, text, and user behaviour to assess engagement, and explores its applications in education. Attendees will discover how AI-driven personalization enhances learning and how Python enables the development of engagement-aware systems.
